CENTRAL POINT, Ore. (AP) - Jackson County authorities say a man missing since last week was found alive in Ashland.

A spokeswoman with the sheriff’s office says a citizen called Wednesday to report that 30-year-old Carlos Ruiz of White City was in a parked car.

Ruiz has diabetes and went five days without the pills and insulin he needs daily.

He was taken to a hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
