GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - A Hudson mother faces child abuse and reckless endangerment charges for allegedly leaving unsecured guns and marijuana near her two children.

The Greeley Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1kAGxOq ) that 28-year-old Tiona Nicole Russell was taken into custody July 10 following the arrest of her husband. When searching the home, authorities report finding three unsecured guns and ammunition, along with a marijuana-infused candy bar near a crib.

The ages of the two children have not been released.

An arrest affidavit reported by the newspaper Thursday says that illegal drugs including hallucinogenic mushrooms were also seized.

Russell faces several misdemeanors and a felony. She is free on a $5,000 bond.
