FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A second man has been charged with assault in the case of stabbings near Red Feather Lakes.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office says that they’ve charged 26-year-old Lorenzo A. Otranto of Lake Placid, New York.

The stabbings happened Tuesday evening on U.S. Forest Service land near Red Feather Lakes. Authorities have not speculated on what prompted the stabbings but say they are connected to a gathering of the Rainbow Family, a migrant counterculture association.

Four people were injured, including Otranto.

Also charged with assault is Norman Wheatley, 37.

The sheriff’s office says Friday that they don’t anticipate more arrests.
