SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Missouri State alumnus Jim Anderson will deliver the commencement address on Aug. 1 when 560 students receive their degrees during summer commencement ceremonies in Springfield.

Anderson is vice president of marketing and public affairs for CoxHealth, and a longtime civic leader in Springfield.

The university will confer 304 bachelor’s degrees, 247 master’s degrees, four specialist and five doctorate degrees. The ceremony is at 10 a.m. at JQH Arena.
