SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Former Utah attorneys general Mark Shurtleff and John Swallow are now set to make their first court appearances together on a slew of bribery charges.

Swallow was originally scheduled to appear in state court in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, but his hearing has been pushed back to July 30, when Shurtleff is scheduled to appear.

Both men will be called as a judge works through a group of defendants making their first appearance in various cases that morning.

Authorities arrested both Republicans on Tuesday as prosecutors detailed cozy relationships with businessmen who offered gold coins, luxury trips and flights on a private jet, among other allegations.

Both Shurtleff and Swallow have denied any wrongdoing and say the investigation is politically motivated.
