GRAFTON, Mass. (AP) - A veteran Grafton firefighter has died from the injuries he sustained in two-car crash earlier this week.

Police said Thursday that 48-year-old Steven Magliaro died at a Worcester hospital.

The Telegram & Gazette (https://bit.ly/1nDO4fh) reports that officers were called to the area of 141 Worcester St. at about 10:45 p.m. Monday where they found two cars with major damage.

Magliaro was found on the ground outside his vehicle with serious injuries. The other driver, 21-year-old Javier Ocasio-Serrano, was trapped in his car.

Preliminary reports indicate that Magliaro was headed north and Ocasio-Serrano was heading south. The accident occurred in the southbound lane.
