OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Four pedestrians were hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon as they crossed a street in downtown Olympia.

The Olympian reports (https://is.gd/rZBlNr ) an older couple and two elementary-school age children were struck in the crosswalk on Capitol Way South.

Dylan McCarthy witnessed the incident while he waited in his car at the crosswalk. He told The Olympian the pedestrians were crossing the street single file and were hit at the same time by a Mitsubishi. He said the driver was going slowly.

Only the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The woman and two boys walked away from the accident.
