SYOSSET, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island are investigating the theft of 22 Apple computers worth more than $20,000 from an elementary school.

Newsday reports Saturday (https://nwsdy.li/1mZTlm1 ) detectives believe one or more suspects snuck into South Grove Elementary School by breaking a back window sometime early Friday.

The newspaper says a school employee discovered the break-in and called Nassau County detectives.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
