BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A former youth pastor has been sentenced to prison for a seven-year relationship he started with a church member when she was 15 years old.

The Camera reported Saturday (https://bit.ly/1n3UHvJ ) that 35-year-old Jason Roberson will also serve a 30-day jail sentence following his two year prison sentence. Roberson pleaded guilty in April to sexually exploiting and stalking a woman, who is now 24, while he was employed by Vinelife Church in Boulder County.

He will also undergo 10 years intensive sex offender probation.

Prosecutors dropped the more serious charges of sexual assault on a child of a position of trust and unlawful sexual contact in exchange for the plea.

Five church officials also face charges for allegedly failing to report alleged sexual abuse. A lawsuit is also pending.
