COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A Columbus man was shot multiple times after he says he was randomly attacked by four men.

Columbus police say 29-year-old Ashton Parks reported that he was walking to a friend’s house in north Columbus on Saturday night when the four men grabbed him.

Darks says he broke free and ran but the four men began shooting at him and hit him several times in the upper body.

Darks was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

Darks told police he didn’t know the men.

Police say there’s no motive or suspects in the shooting.

Four hours earlier Saturday, an 18-year-old Columbus man said four men he didn’t know drove up to him as he stood at an east Columbus intersection and shot him in the leg.
