BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Firefighters have gained 20 percent containment on two wildfires burning in the Boise National Forest.

The Whiskey Complex has burned just over 13 square miles of ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and other fuels since it was started a week ago by lightning.

One unoccupied cabin has been destroyed.

About 1,000 firefighters supported by helicopters are battling the fires.

Firefighters were expecting more hot, dry weather Sunday although a chance of rain and cooler temperatures were expected to move in by Monday.

Other wildfires are burning in the Payette National Forest.
