LONGVIEW, Wash. (AP) - Retired state Court of Appeals Judge C.C. Bridgewater, a former Cowlitz County prosecutor, died Sunday at his home at the age of 70.

His wife, Kay Bridgewater, told The Daily News of Longview (https://bit.ly/1lmpaRI ) he had been struggling with heart failure since March and knew he was dying. He came home late last week and asked for his favorite meal on Friday - anchovy pizza.

Bridgewater had suffered a heart attack in 2010 which forced him to leave the bench after 16 years.
