CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have been searching the St. Joseph River in southwestern Michigan for the body of a 65-year-old man who disappeared after his fishing boat capsized.

St. Joseph County Undersheriff Mark Lillywhite tells WWMT-TV (https://bit.ly/1tshdQ5 ) that the man was fishing with his son early Sunday when the man stood up and caused the boat to overturn.

The undersheriff says both men fell into the water and the son was unable to save his father in the fast current.

Lillywhite says dive teams searched Sunday but had to stop because of poor visibility. The site is in Constantine Township, about 4 miles north of the Indiana state line.

Men man’s name wasn’t immediately released.
