GOODWIN, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says a bridge on Highway 259 in St. Francis County will be closed while it’s being replaced.

The department says crews will be replacing a bridge with a series of culverts over a drainage ditch south of Goodwin.

The bridge will be closed from Monday through Thursday, weather permitting, and traffic will be detoured onto county roads.

Traffic will be controlled using barrels, warning signs and detour signs.
