MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia University is soliciting bids for about 200 security cameras.

Dean of students and director of housing Corey Farris tells The Dominion Post (https://bit.ly/1rBoHjp ) that the cameras mainly will monitor residence halls’ entrances and exits.

He says the cameras will add another layer of security.

Bid documents state that Aug. 5 is the deadline for companies to submit bids.
