STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. (AP) - Authorities are widening the search for an eastern Missouri woman who has been missing since early this month.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Lynn Marie Messer walked away from a family farm near Bloomsdale in Ste. Genevieve County on July 8. The patrol issued an endangered person advisory after family members realized she wasn’t home.

Messer is the wife of Kerry Messer, a Jefferson City lobbyist and president of the Missouri Family Network.

KMOX Radio (https://cbsloc.al/1qYhVD7 ) reports that the search has been expanded with the use of K-9 teams and volunteers - some from outside the state. A “Find Lynn Messer” Facebook page has been established, too.
