KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - An Arizona woman is facing charges after police say she tried to run down her ex-husband while her child was in the car.

The Kingman Daily Miner reports (https://goo.gl/j7TgkM) 34-year-old Crystle Bessemer was arrested Tuesday following a chase that ended with a collision into a chain link fence.

According to Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies, Bessemer tried to hit her 30-year-old ex-husband following an argument in the Mohave Wash. The man says Bessemer almost hit him five times and was doing “360s.”

Bessemer, who had her 5-year-old son in the vehicle, told deputies she brought her former husband food and water because he was staying in the desert overnight and lost control of her Toyota Echo.

She faces aggravated assault and other charges.

It was not known if she had an attorney.
