CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a man was killed and two others were injured in an assault by six men in Carson.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Graciela Medrano says the attack happened Wednesday night near Carson High School.

Medrano says the three victims were walking when a champagne-colored SUV pulled up and six men got out and began assaulting them.

Two of the victims were stabbed and the third was struck with a blunt object.

City News Service says one of the victims was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The others are in fair condition.

Investigators have no motive and no description of the suspects.
