MARYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - An attorney from eastern Tennessee has been suspended indefinitely following a complaint of misconduct.

The Supreme Court of Tennessee issued the suspension to Cynthia Lee Costner-Sexton after she failed to respond to a complaint.

The Daily Times reports (https://bit.ly/1rdlgyr ) the suspension prevents Costner-Sexton from accepting new cases and she must cease representing any existing clients by Aug. 20.

The suspension will remain in effect until the state Supreme Court either dissolves or modifies the suspension.

The court did not release any details about the complaint.
