HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) - An Apple Valley man is charged with five counts of theft for allegedly stealing more than $113,000 from a Rosemount youth athletics group.

Sixty-two-year-old Robert Steven Reischauer was the former finance manager of the Rosemount Area Athletic Association. He was charged Thursday in Dakota County.

The criminal complaint says Reischauer stole the money between 2011 and 2013 by writing himself fraudulent checks and using association fund to pay for his PayPal and Amazon accounts.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports (https://bit.ly/1ujJaO6 ) Reischauer has been charged by summons. His first court appearance is set for Aug. 11.

It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney. A number listed for Reischauer has been disconnected and he could not be reached for comment by The Associated Press.
