BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Authorities have made a second arrest in connection with a fire set at Champlain College in Burlington.

Vermont State Police, with help from the Burlington Police Department, arrested 27-year-old Eric S. Martin of Burlington on Thursday.

It was not immediately known if Martin is being represented by a lawyer.

The fire happened at a dormitory on July 10. The building was vacant and was undergoing renovations. Damage was estimated at $25,000. Firefighters say it was a case of arson.

The other suspect, 26-year-old Theodore Bowen of Essex Junction, pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of burglary, violating conditions of release and resisting arrest. Bowen said he was in the dormitory at the time, but said he was looking for a bathroom.
