PHOENIX (AP) - Police have recovered dozens of computers stolen from a west Phoenix school.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson says four teens ages 16 and 17 have been arrested in the theft of approximately 50 laptop and desktop computers valued at between $50,000 and $60,000 from Desert Sands Middle School.

Police arrested one teenager after a burglary alarm was activated early Thursday morning. An investigation led to the recovery of the computers and the arrest of the other teenagers.

Thompson says numerous officers were involved in the recovery of the stolen property and that it was gratifying to return the computers to the school.
