WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - A 46-year-old Waterloo man has pleaded guilty to submitting fraudulent bills for his counseling services.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1jZaP2r ) that Anthony Thomas entered his plea Thursday. He admitted in Black Hawk County District Court that he submitted more than $2,400 in fraudulent bills to Magellan Behavior Health through the Iowa Medicaid program.

Court records say the billings were made between June and September 2012, when Thomas no longer was treating the person identified in the billings.
