SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Officials say no one was hurt as a jet made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from the Burlington International Airport.

Heather Bowman, operations specialist at the airport, tells the Burlington Free Press (https://bfpne.ws/1t37IcC) the Canadair regional jet 200 made the landing at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday and it was attributed to mechanical issues after the pilot felt “unknown vibrations.” The flight was on its way to Detroit.

Bowman said the Delta Airline operated plane was up in the air for about 15 minutes. A brief inspection was done after it landed.
