YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 16-year-old boy on crutches has been shot on a Yonkers, New York street.

CBS New York (https://cbsloc.al/1xbOy1X ) says the teen was hospitalized in serious but stable condition following the shooting at around 1:20 a.m. Friday.

He also was hit in the shoulder and thigh.

Police say two suspects ran away after opening fire on a group of people on a street corner.

It was not immediately clear whether the victim was targeted or caught in crossfire.
