SUNSET, La. (AP) - Police in Sunset say a 23-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly ran over her boyfriend with her car following an argument.

Investigators tell KLFY-TV (https://bit.ly/1jZeKfB ) that Chestina Clark faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and driving without a license.

Police say the incident happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 182 and Louisiana Highway 178.

Investigators say Clark and 24-year-old Dontrell Thibodeaux argued then Thibodeaux got out of the car and was walking away when Clark allegedly ran over him.

Thibodeaux was taken to a local hospital. Extent of his injuries was not immediately available.

Clark was booked at the St. Landry Parish Jail.

It was not immediately clear whether she has an attorney.
