GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The University of North Dakota has a full-time national anthem singer for its men’s hockey games at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.

The school says entertainer and motivational speaker Mark J. Lindquist will perform at all UND home games.

The Ortonville, Minnesota, native travels the country performing the anthem for collegiate and professional sports teams. He sang at the College World Series earlier this summer and will be performing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in August.

Lindquist is an actor who has appeared in ABC’s “Lost,” CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” and the Universal Studios movie “Battleship.” He currently lives in Fargo, where he co-founded the company Breath Is Limited Motivational Speaking.
