BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) - A day care worker in southeast Iowa has been accused of making methamphetamine.

The Burlington Hawk Eye reports (https://bit.ly/VJ049N ) 39-year-old Jennifer Tucker was arrested Tuesday. She faces two counts of manufacturing methamphetamine and other drug substances. Court records do not list an attorney.

Tucker appeared in court Wednesday, and bond has been set at $220,000. She remained Thursday at the Des Moines County Jail.

Tucker is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine and other substances in August and October of last year. Authorities say they had to process evidence before they could make an arrest.

Tucker is expected in court on July 11.
