FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Former Arkansas Razorback Scotty Thurman is joining the Razorback Sports Network as a color analyst for Arkansas men’s basketball games this season.

The university announced Thursday that Thurman will work with Chuck Barrett - who will handle play-by-play duties.

Thurman will continue as a full-time member of Arkansas athletics where he works with the student-athlete development program. Thurman has been the director of student-athlete development for the men’s basketball program for the past four years.

Thurman played for Coach Nolan Richardson at UA from 1993-95 and helped the Razorbacks to an NCAA national championship in 1994 and a runner-up finish in 1995. He is remembered for what is known as “The Shot” in which he hit a three-pointer in the final minute of the 1994 championship game against Duke.
