OLCOTT, N.Y. (AP) - Six boaters have been rescued from a sinking boat at the western end of Lake Ontario.

Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 call at 10 p.m. Thursday from a passenger on the sinking 20-foot Sport Craft. Deputies located the distressed vessel about 150 feet offshore from the town of Olcott.
