BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission has adopted a resolution adding acreage to Peason Ridge Wildlife Management Area

The area is located 18 miles north of Leesville with acreage in Sabine, Natchitoches and Vernon parishes.

The state wildlife department said Thursday that 17,994 acres were added to Peason Ridge. That brings total acreage to the Wildlife Management Area to 51,004 acres.
