PHOENIX (AP) - Officials say Interstate 10 westbound has reopened in Marana after a fatal crash.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says eastbound lanes remained closed Friday afternoon at Avra Valley Road while crews are still on scene working the collision site.

The agency says it is unknown when I-10 eastbound will reopen but drivers should expect long delays and consider alternate routes between Phoenix and Tucson.

Traffic was being rerouted onto the frontage road around the crash scene.
