MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A fire that started Thursday evening has consumed six garages in a north Minot complex.

Officials in Minot say a man was working on a motorcycle in a garage when he noticed some gasoline had ignited sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The man suffered minor burns but able to escape the garage.

KXMC-TV reports that about 14 firefighters were on scene to fight the flames that consumed about six of the complex’s eight garages.

Firefighters also had to extinguish cars and motorcycles inside of the garage complex.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
