JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Jackson police are investigating a report of shots being fired into a home.

The report came in about 1 a.m. Friday. WLBT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1j36j2k ) that police say two shots were fired into the house.

Police say that one of the shots went through the living room and into the kitchen wall. Several people were in the home at the time of the shooting, however no one was injured.

One of the occupants said her teenage daughter had received several threatening text messages from another girl who lives in the area.

Officers went to the home of the girl and she told them she had no knowledge of the shooting
