KINGSTON, Wash. (AP) - The Kitsap County Sheriff’s office says a 48-year-old man died Friday morning in a trash collision involving a fire truck.

Spokesman Scott Wilson tells the Kitsap Sun that (https://is.gd/1Bn8EM ) Jason T. Foster of Kingston, who was driving a scooter, died at the scene.

The crash happened when the pumper truck with North Kitsap Fire & Rescue tried to turn left and collided with the scooter.

Wilson says fire investigators are looking into who had the right of way.
