FORTALEZA, Brazil (AP) - Maicon will start in Brazil’s defense instead of Dani Alves when the host team faces Colombia on Friday in the World Cup quarterfinals.

Brazil: Julio Cesar; Maicon, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Marcelo; Paulinho, Fernandinho, Oscar; Neymar, Hulk, Fred.

Colombia: David Ospina; Cristian Zapata, Mario Yepes, Pablo Armero, Juan Camilo Zuniga; Carlos Sanchez, Fredy Guarin, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, Victor Ibarbo; James Rodriguez, Teofilo Gutierrez.
