SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police say a 42-year-old Lindon man has been shot dead by his wife’s former husband.

Authorities have not released the name of the man found dead in his home Thursday.

They have arrested 59-year-old Fred Lee in connection with the shooting. He faces charges of aggravated murder, burglary and assault.

Lindon Police Chief Cody Cullimore tells KUTV (https://bit.ly/1m0fCzR) the gunfire happened at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday.

Cullimore says the alleged shooter had an ongoing dispute with his ex-wife and came to her house with a shotgun and a pistol.

The woman’s grandchild is reported to have witnessed the shooting before the man went to neighboring houses to search for the woman, who was out of town.

Authorities say no others were injured. Lindon police continue to investigate.
