ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the shooting of a suspect in Albuquerque by a deputy with the U.S. Marshals Service.

Albuquerque police say federal deputies were serving a probation violation arrest warrant on a suspect earlier this week when the shooting occurred.

Police and other agencies are now conducting a probe into the shooting.

Authorities did not release the name of the suspect or the deputy involved.
