CONVENT, La. (AP) - The St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a white Chrysler Concord that might be connected with the disappearance of a 12-year old girl.

Talaija (tah-LAY’-jah) Dorsey has been missing from her home in the St. James community since Tuesday.

The Advocate reports that (https://bit.ly/1o8rP1W ) the Sheriff’s Office asks anyone who may have seen a 2001 white, four-door Chrysler Concord on or about July 1, to let authorities know.

Friday marked the third day that officers and volunteers searched ditches and highway routes between Assumption Parish and Jefferson Parish in a search for the girl.

WWL TV (https://bit.ly/1xtyJFX) reports that the fiancĂ© of Talaija’s mother, 42-year-old John Celestine, has been identified as a “person of interest” in the case. Celestine was booked Wednesday on felony obstruction of justice.
