PHENIX CITY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say they believe a Phenix City woman drowned in the pool at her home.

Russell County coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. tells the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer (https://bit.ly/VsuHjn ) that 55-year-old Lisa Hall was pronounced dead at 9:03 p.m. Thursday. Sumbry says the death is being investigated as a possible accidental drowning.

Sumbry says Hall was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time after a neighbor pulled her from the pool at her home.

Hall’s body is to be sent to the Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery for an autopsy. Sumbry says the death is being investigated by his office and the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.
