WALLINGTON, N.J. (AP) - Investigators are looking for a bandit who made off with nearly $7,000 from a northern New Jersey bank.

Wallington police tell The Record (https://bit.ly/VOubNb) that the man entered a Chase Bank branch shortly after it opened at 10 a.m. Saturday, then threw a bag over the counter and demanded cash. After getting the money, he left the bank on foot.

There were four employees in the bank at the time, along with some customers. No injuries were reported.

Authorities say no weapon was used in the robbery, and the man fled with about $6,990.
