ENID, Okla. (AP) - The Enid police chief says an officer suffered a possible broken ankle when he was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic.

Police Chief Brian O’Rourke says Officer Geoffrey McBride was injured Friday night while directing Fourth of July holiday traffic

O’Rourke told the Enid News & Eagle (https://bit.ly/1qyymrn ) that the incident is still under investigation and other details were not released.
