WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Investigators say a 39-year-old man has been shot to death outside an apartment in Winston-Salem.

Police said Roberto Bustos was dead by the time officers arrived around 9 p.m. Friday.

Authorities say Bustos was shot several times after an argument. Police say they have issued a first-degree murder warrant against Pablo Fuentes, but he has not been taken into custody.

Witnesses say there were fireworks going off in the neighborhood at the same time, making it hard to pinpoint when the gunshots happened.

Police say Bustos’ death is the seventh homicide in Winston-Salem this year.
