HARRISON, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police have released some details in connection with the arrest of a suspect in the death of a 75-year-old woman inside a store she owned near Harrison.

Police say the suspect was arrested Friday afternoon following a traffic stop by Boone County authorities near the town of Bergman and that he’s being held without bond in the Boone County Jail. State police did not say what led to the traffic stop - although authorities have said they had a description of the suspected vehicle the man was driving based on images from a security surveillance system.

The suspect is wanted in connection with the death of Adah Lorraine Carte - who was found about 7 p.m. Thursday inside her Ozark Emporium store in Bear Creek Springs.
