DUNBAR, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia State Agency for Surplus Property is reminding customers that they have more opportunities to stop by and see what’s for sale.

The agency is extending its business hours on the first Monday of the month through August. The Dunbar facility will be open until 7 p.m. on Monday, July 7 and Aug. 4. Its normal hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Agency manager Elizabeth Perdue says the change that took place beginning in May is giving customers who work during the day an opportunity to see the surplus items that are available.

Surplus items can include household furniture, office equipment and furniture, lawn maintenance equipment and vehicles.
