ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A memorial for an Albuquerque cyclist has been vandalized a second time, and his widow believes it’s not a coincidence.

Sherry Anderson tells KRQE (https://bit.ly/1m6m2xs) she got the call Friday that someone had damaged the wheel of the bicycle memorial for her husband, David Anderson. They also tossed aside rocks with messages of encouragement.

Anderson has been outspoken about holding the justice system accountable and demanding answers in subsequent cases involving Miranda Pacheco, the woman who swerved off the road in 2010 and killed David Anderson.

Last month, police say Pacheco allegedly plowed into the front of an Albuquerque business after driving the wrong way. Police are awaiting blood test results in that case.

Last year, Pacheco was arrested for aggravated DWI and reckless driving and sentenced to nine months.
