The wreck happened Sunday afternoon at the junction of U.S. 83 and U.S. 412. According to the highway patrol, a van carrying nine people was struck by an oncoming SUV.

A preliminary report says the driver of the van had a stop sign and pulled in front of the SUV, and the vehicles collided.

The van’s passengers included three adults and six children, while the SUV was driven by a 50-year-old Guymon man. The injured were taken to a hospital in Perryton, Texas, with two people transported to a facility in Amarillo, Texas.
