MONTICELLO, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas at Monticello has named Michael Cyprien as an assistant basketball coach.

Head coach Kyle Tolin announced the hiring Tuesday.

Cyprien joins the UAM staff after three-years as an assistant at Southeastern University in Louisiana where he previously was a three-year letter winner for the Lions and helped SLU to a pair of Southland Conference championships.

Cyprien also previously coached at Rogers State University in Oklahoma.
