RUSTON, La. (AP) - The last time Jenna Bolin walked off the basketball court at Ruston High School, The Ruston Lady Bearcats, coached by current Ruston principal Rickey Durrett, beat Bolin and her Southwood Lady Cowboys teammates 63-62.

That marked the end of a chance at a third straight Class 5A state championship for Southwood, where Bolin played from 1999-2002.

Bolin is back in Ruston this summer, hired as the girls basketball head coach after spending the last three seasons reviving the girls basketball program at Castor.

The Times reports (https://bit.ly/1snVIzx ) that Bolin says she’s excited about the opportunity and plans on spending the summer working on fundamentals with her new team.
