DALLAS (AP) - Federal authorities say the arrests of 11 men have broken a Dallas-area steroid manufacturing and distribution ring.

Among those named in a nine-count indictment are weightlifters and bodybuilders.

Justice Department spokeswoman Davilyn Walston tells The Dallas Morning News (https://bit.ly/1mAH48p ) one of the men arrested has pleaded guilty to a related marijuana charge. Court documents show a second man has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Charges outlined in the indictment include conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids, heroin and cocaine.

The case was filed in March but the newspaper reports many documents still remain sealed.
